BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Marc Levine is a Principal and the former Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s tax practice. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2005, he was the Chief Executive Officer of an international engineering, operating, and construction company headquartered in Pittsburgh. During his tenure with this company, Marc was involved in setting up their operations in China, Canada, South America and Russia. Additionally, he maintained responsibility for the company’s United States operations in over twenty states.
In his current role as a Principal at H2R CPA, Marc provides tax consulting services to businesses, business owners, executives and high net-worth individuals. Marc has extensive experience in corporate, partnership, estate & trust, pension, multi-state, international and individual tax matters. Marc has assisted both individuals and businesses in various federal, state and local tax matters and provides advice to clients in tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service and state and local tax authorities. Marc assists clients with choice of entity matters, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, international structuring of operations, and executive compensation options and implementation.
With respect to individual estate and trust planning, Marc has advised clients on wills and trusts, estate administration matters, family limited partnerships, grantor trusts, succession planning, retirement planning and utilization of life insurance.
