BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Marc Brdar is Director of Advisory Services at H2R CPA, with over thirty years of experience that has included roles in both public accounting and industry. His specialties include transaction advisory, business planning and forecasting, financial analysis, financial process improvement, internal controls, risk assessment and forensic accounting. While in industry, Marc held positions ranging from Senior Financial Analyst to Chief Financial Officer for privately held and public companies.
In his role at the firm, Marc consults with clients who are planning to buy or sell a business, providing support throughout the buy-side and sell-side due diligence phase, including quality of earnings reports. Throughout his career, he has directed over 200 such projects and provided valuable insights and deliverables to his clients.
While serving in industry, Marc assisted the owners of a private company to achieve a lucrative exit, directed the monthly closing and financial reporting of several companies, implemented accounting system conversions and led a team that reduced the monthly closing cycle from seven days to three days.

PERSONALLY SPEAKING
Marc lives in South Park with his wife, Beth, and they have four grown children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family (including beach vacations) and participating in fitness activities. Marc is also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lion football fan.
