BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Nate Shaffer is a Partner in the firm’s Accounting & Assurance Services group. With almost 20 years of public accounting experience, Nate started his career in 2006 at a regional CPA firm while spending the last 10 years at a National accounting firm where he most recently held the position of Assurance Director. He has experience in performing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations in addition to assisting clients with implementing new accounting standards, cost reduction strategies, and general business consulting.
Nate works primarily with privately held middle market businesses in the construction, manufacturing & distribution, and service industries with revenues ranging from $10 million to in excess of $500 million. He also conducts employee benefit plan audits for the firm’s clients.

PERSONALLY SPEAKING
Nate resides in the Kiski Area school district with his wife Amanda and their three children, Noah, Connor, and Lena. He is actively involved in coaching his kids’ baseball, softball and basketball teams throughout the year. When he’s not spending his days at the ball field or basketball court, Nate enjoys golfing and spending time at his cabin in Benezette.
