Overview
H2R CPA is looking for an individual to join our Accounting Services Consulting Department. Qualified candidates will be career-oriented individuals possessing strong accounting and organization skills and have for-profit and/or nonprofit experience. The candidate should desire to develop accounting and assurance technical, business consulting and other professional skills.
Experience
2-4 years of experience in accounting (public and/or private), and/or bookkeeping
Responsibilities
Responsible for assigned clients from department head requiring a range of bookkeeping tasks from stand-alone bank reconciliations, payroll data input, to full monthly closes and account analyses. Also responsible for communication with clients to address their required services, questions and concerns, to send monthly reports and analyses, to schedule needed site visits, and to address any other needs that may arise during the accounting cycle.
Organize and clearly document work papers and conclusions.
Compose and update client checklists as work is completed and/or new services arise during the engagement.
Technical skills – Familiarize with monthly accounting cycle and year-end procedures. Develop a command of generally accepted accounting principles, internal audit areas and procedures, and other regulatory areas and requirements.
Other required skills – Solid written and oral communication abilities, multi-tasking, prioritizing and organizational skills. Focus on providing superior client service. Reporting to manager(s) if any issues arise with clients’ services.

Associate’s Degree in Accounting
